I got my Muppet collection the other day, and spent the rest of the night swatching and taking pictures and video. I'll share the super macro shots now, and will hopefully have the video of the swatching process up within the next day or two.

A deeper plum/mauve with lots of small flecs

Similar to last year's Ali's Big Break, but a bit more cranberry

Wocka Wocka
A deep red with a basic shimmer/metallic finish

Animal-istic
A fun, shimmery coral/orange

Warm & Fozzie
A duo-chrome shimmer. A little more sheer than I expected

Designer...De Better!
A champagne shimmer with a few pink and bronze shimmers thrown in

Gettin Miss Piggy With ItClear base, red small glitter, and red and silver large hex glitters. This is the only one(besides Rainbow Connection) that has other coloured chunky glitter

Clear base, small green glitters, silver hex glitter

Clear base, small blue glitter, silver hex glitter

Divine Swine
The purple version. Clear base, small purple glitter, silver hex glitter

Excuse Moi!This one is a little different from the rest. Pink base, small pink glitter, and rainbow medium sized hex glitters. They look like the same ones in Rainbow Connection

Rainbow Connection
A party in a bottle :) A mix of mid-sized and large hex glitters in rainbow colours.

Halloween Tutorial!

A new tutorial just in time for Halloween! Yay! This one is pretty simple, I only used three colours, but you could totally get away with two. And the only special tool I used was a thin brush, which are pretty easy to come by, or make yourself(we'll be covering that later).

I am a huge Nintendo fan, so every once in a while, I deck out my nails with Nintendo characters. This week the theme was Paper Mario.

And because video games are awesome in general, I did some Pac Man last week :)

I just recently entered a contest with this new design. The theme was 'kawaii', and I had a bunch of ideas rolling around in my head, but was having trouble putting them on the nail. Then as I was sitting at my desk, I looked over and saw my copy of Kirby's Epic Yarn. This is what happened:

Yay, first tutorial on the blog!

I'll (hopefully) be posting a new tutorial every Monday, as that is one of my days off work, so it make things easy ;)

This first design is pretty simple, cute, and can be worn on short nails just as well as on long ones. The only special thing you need is a dotting tool, and you can make one out of things at home easily if you don't own one.

New blog, new sense of dedication, same old love for nail polish :)

I will be updating this blog at least weekly(hopefully) with video nail tutorials, tips on nail art, tips on polishes in general, and a look at what I am wearing on my nails.

I'll keep it simple for this first time, and just show you what I'm wearing. I got the design from the user LOVE4NAILS on youtube, be sure to check her out :)
